I’m happy to report fishing at Sanibel Island is good this week.
The weather and the tides has the fishing turned up. Redfish and big trout are on the flats.
Spanish mackerel, Blue fish, Pompano, are nearly every cast near the passes. No need for live bait. Jig fishing is easy and fun with non stop action and fish that pull hard.
Lots of people in town. The island’s are hopping and the weather is exceptional except for Thursday. February is filling up so book early.
