Cold weather here around Sanibel Island.
Many cold fronts and even a Polar Vortex (whatever that is) has slowed the fishing down.
We had something similar to this in 2010. Only this isn’t as sever.
I’ll be on the water now, weather permitting the next 14 days. I have openings towards mid Feb. and on into March.
This next week I’ll be out searching for pompano, redfish, trout, and sharks.
I know everyone from the north wants to catch tarpon, but your out of luck. Unless you keep heading south. Way south like Costa Rica!
At least it’s beautiful here. And the water is great too if the wind isn’t blowing. At this point anyone down here from anywhere north is glad to be here. This winter season is just crippling many states.
I’ll put up a report soon of what were catching. If you have any questions drop me an email.
See ya on the water!
